As we quickly approach the holiday season, tre Ministries has several special events to close out the year—each one a unique opportunity for our community to connect, celebrate, and give back. Whether you’re a regular at tre, new to our community, or interested in supporting our mission, we’re so excited to invite you to partner with us as 2024 comes to a close! Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming up:

November 22nd – Friendsgiving! 

THEME: Dress up as a character from the hit tv-sitcom, Friends! Top 5 costumes will receive a $10 gift card! A glimpse of the night: 6:00p Food + Hangout, 7:00p activities begin! Cookie decorating competition, sack race, turkey balloon game, Photo Booth and board games! Young Adult Hangout is a time to hang out, meet, and connect with other young adults! You can participate in the fun activities planned or just hang out. You can come alone or come with friends. Everyone is welcome! Meal provided!

November 29th – Meet the Town: Parade of Lights!

Experience Sioux Falls’ magical Parade of Lights with tre! This annual event is a perfect way to kick off the holiday season, and it’s a great chance to meet others in our community as we gather to enjoy the festive lights and Christmas cheer. Meet at tre at 6:30p, and make sure to dress WARM and bring a blanket, as we will walk over from tre and be outside for the night!

December 3rd – Giving Tuesday!

This Giving Tuesday December 3rd, our goal is to raise $18,190, and here’s the best part: every dollar you give will be matched by a generous donor—doubling your impact! In addition, we are so excited to say that tre Ministries is partnering with the amazing Pizza Shop, local to Sioux Falls! When you place a pizza order on Tuesday December 3rd (or call ahead for a larger order) for the tre Featured Pizzas, a portion of your purchase will go towards tre Ministries! December 6th – tre Worship Night!

Join us as we share a meal and worship together! tre Young Adult Worship Nights are always special, as we seek the Lord and are reminded of His love, kindness, and wisdom. We can’t wait to see you there, and to see what God does in our time together! The night starts at 6:00p, and worship will start around 7:00p!

December 13th – Christmas Party + tre Talk!

THEME: Ugly Christmas Sweaters! We are thrilled to welcome in Chief Thum to join us at our Christmas Party to share his testimony! It will be a packed night of Christmas fun and festivities, and most importantly a chance to connect and build community with other young adults. Schedule of the Night: 6:00p Food + Hangout, 7:00p Chief Thum shares his testimony, 8:00p Christmas festivities! Gingerbread decorating competition, $9-$11 optional White Elephant gift exchange, games, and a watch party of the iconic Christmas movie, Elf!

As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment of gratitude to say we have experienced incredible blessings and growth at tre Ministries—and that’s largely thanks to YOU for being such an important part of our community. Because of your generosity and prayers, we’ve been able to create spaces of belonging, purpose, and hope for hundreds of young adults this year. 💙
