It’s almost summer! Welcome to the days of more sunshine! ☀️ With the changing of weather comes a new season and rhythm of life for many…including here at tre Ministries! Last Friday was our official End of Year Celebration, and we wanted to reflect and celebrate some of the things God has done this year in our community and through our young adults! Check it out below, and share with a friend. 🎉

programming highlights in 2023-2024

At tre, our programming serves a purpose! Everything we do is meant to bring belonging, purpose, and hope to young adults. Because of this, we are always looking for new ways to bring programs that honor and meet needs in various seasons of life. Here is a glimpse of how our programming evolved this year:

• tre Live Prayer Rooms (Sundays at 6:00p), NEW! An open space for young adults to sit at the feet of Jesus and worship Him in whatever expressive ways He calls. Our hope is to cultivate an environment of spending time with Jesus, and to equip young adults to step into Holy Spirit-led prayer and worship throughout their daily lives.

• Young, Engaged + Married Group (Sundays at 6:00p), NEW! Once a month, we meet together and discuss different topics, all with the intent of supporting each other in godly marriages!

• Women’s Group (Tuesdays at 6:00p), NEW! A time for women to gather together, study scripture, share, listen, and grow in being sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

• 3v3 Basketball Tournament! Last November, we hosted a 3v3 Basketball Tournament in collaboration with South Dakota Special Olympics, Scheel’s, and Coca-Cola! We had 13 teams participate, served lunch, and had so many fans cheering the teams on!

• Summer in December: New Year’s Party! What’s better than celebrating the New Year with a beach party in the middle of South Dakota winter? December 29th, we had such a great time dressing in our beach attire, eating food with friends, making mocktails, and playing indoor beach volleyball!

• Super Bowl Watch Party! Snacks, football, and friends. What more could you ask for to enjoy the big game?

• Table for One: Valentine’s Day Hangout! Competitions, prizes, and hanging out in community with other young adults! We welcomed anyone who didn’t have plans on Valentine’s Day to join us for a special event!

• tre Prom! On May 5th, we had our first ever tre Prom, complete with dresses, tuxes, and karaoke to end the night! With over 50 young adults, we had a blast and know tre Prom is only just getting started!

Since Fall Kickoff in September, we’ve had over 5400 check-ins, and have gotten to partner with over 20 organizations and 20 guest speakers and pastors during our programming! Praise God for the way he is moving in young adults’ hearts to bring belonging, purpose, and hope! 

2024 summer hours

Starting in June, our building will be open Tuesday-Thursdays from 11:00a-10:00p, Saturdays for Upper20s programming, and Sundays from 5:00p-10:00p! Check out our full list of summer programming and our complete calendar!

tre Association

This year, we’ve had 25 tre Advocates, and we keep growing! Advocates are young adults who want to take the next step in leading, serving, and welcoming those in the tre community. From our October Advocate Retreat, to serving opportunities, Advocate Takeover Days, trainings, and dinners – we have had so much fun learning and growing together this year!

Our Prayer

LORD, thank you for your goodness and your love. Your grace is tangible in so many ways, and we pray that your Holy Spirit would open our hearts and eyes to see you in a fuller, deeper, richer way. To know the extravagance of your love and grace, so that we may love you and love others in a way that brings hope and healing. Give us strength, and cultivate your fruit in us so that the world may know your love.
