We are officially into August, and we could not be more excited! At tre, we say that quite a bit…but this time the extra energy is tangible! Why? Because August marks tre Ministries’ 5th birthday! In August 2018, tre was officially established! For this month’s blog, we sat down with tre’s CEO and founder, Sandy Berven, to talk all about 5 years! The journey, the milestone, looking back on all God has done, and looking forward to all that is coming!

What a privilege it is to be able to link arms together and pray over those in our community. Below is our monthly prayer calendar with prompts for each day - whether it is for Young Adults, College Students, Married Couples, Young Families, etc.! Our heart is to surround the young adult community in prayer - that they would know the Father’s love, and that they wouldn’t feel alone!

Sand volleyball, park hangouts, Levitt concerts, run club, and more! Our summer programming has continued in full swing, and with that, we are blessed to see young adults get connected to genuine community. At tre, we are always talking about building friendships and relationships that point one another to Christ, and good news — it’s happening!

We desire to be a community faithful to God’s voice and rooted in His truth. To be carriers of the gospel, and to bring glory to God in all we do. We know with confidence that God’s heart is the same for us — that as we ask for more of Him and to be more like Him, our prayers do not fall on deaf ears! As we go through the summer, we know that He can accomplish infinitely more than we can imagine as we continuously seek His blessing and refining!

Rearview mirrors are interesting. On the one hand - you are limited to only looking back. But on the other hand, they show you the beauty of the journey you’ve taken to get to where you are. Here at tre, we love to look in the rearview mirror every now and then to see how far God has carried us and where he has shown up in our journey.

As we long for belonging, purpose, and hope in young adult lives everywhere, we know strong faith and strong faith community cannot happen without prayer — without seeking God and asking Him to move in hearts and in cities across the nation and around the world. We hope you join us as we continue to seek His kingdom in this generation!

The mission of tre Ministries is taking root in peoples’ hearts. We are amazed and filled with gratitude at the support, generosity, and commitment you have to value young adults and seek God’s vision of belonging, purpose, and hope. Celebrate and reflect with us on what God has done!

Brainstorm, plan, prep, follow through. As supporters, partners, and people of our tre family, we would love for you to come alongside us as we pray for young adults and the mission God has placed upon our hearts. We truly desire that God would pour out His love, kindness, and mercy on young adults not only in this city, but all over.
